Second Grade Scoop November 19-23

Thank you for making the time for conferences and bringing your child with you. We hope you found benefit in having students be an active part of the meeting - they did a great job! If you have any follow up questions or thoughts, please feel free to contact us. Our Veterans Day program is on Monday, November 19.  As a reminder, students are asked to wear blue  pants/blue jeans and wear red or white (or both) tops. Students should report to Gym A at 5:40pm and will be  dism issed  from the gym after the show. Second Grade Scoop October 15-19

We’ve had the privilege to have some guest presenters at our school over the past weeks. The Kaukauna Fire Dept. came in to talk with students about knowing safety plans at school and at home. In addition, Larry the Science Guy came in to show us some amazing and fun things that can be done applying science principles. On Friday, Ryan Flessner, our math staff developer from Butler University, taught our class a math lesson. He was impressed with our problem solving strategies! Second Grade Scoop Jan. 21-25th

This week we are celebrating NDLC. We will have 2 Family Nights this week: Tuesday will be a Block Party to include some building activities and dancing, and Thursday will be Kids Heart Challenge activities. In addition, students are welcome to participate in the dress up day themes as follows: Tuesday - Twin Day Wednesday - PJ Day Thursday - Activewear Friday - Dress Like Your Future Job Upcoming Events Celebrate NDLC Week January 22nd - Family Night 5:30 - 6:30 Block Party January 24th - Family Night 5:30 - 7:00 Kids Heart Challenge January 25th - 2nd Grade Classroom Celebration: Bring in a Board Game.
