Hello, We are gearing up for another busy week in 2nd grade. We will be meeting with our buddy classes tomorrow from 2-3 and will have some special visitors to our school. Curriculum Updates: Reading-Second graders continue to read nonfiction. We've worked on solving tricky words and learning the specific topic in our nonfiction books. This week we've begun to work on reading across a topic by reading several books on the same topic to grow our learning even more. Writing-We continue to work on writing nonfiction books. We had a mini celebration on Monday with second graders in both classrooms.
