In science today students had the chance to make their own seed flyer out of paper and see how it would fly. The choices were spinner, glider or rotocopter. Ask your child how it went!
This week we are celebrating NDLC. We will have 2 Family Nights this week: Tuesday will be a Block Party to include some building activities and dancing, and Thursday will be Kids Heart Challenge activities. Wow! I'm amazed at all we've accomplished in just one short month! Now that we have our routines in place and students have built stamina in all areas, I'm excited to see what the rest of October will bring! It's hard to believe this Friday marks the end of the first half of the year. The time has gone by so quickly. Students have made so much growth this year! We completed our reading MAP last week and will be taking the math MAP test this week. Mr. Skurr's class will be testing on Tuesday and Ms. Zobel's will be on Wednesday.
