Word Study-This week we will finish up instruction on sounds of er, ir, ur and begin looking at the vowel teams of ‘ai’ and ‘ay’.

Content-Mr. Skurr's class started learning about Kaukauna history. So far we have talked about some of the early people in the area like Jean Nicolet and the importance of water travel. We will learn more about other early settlers this week.

Ms. Zobel's class  examined how scientists organize animals into groups based on their characteristics. Students sorted animal cards into groups, then classified three “challenge” animals.
